For me, the biggest struggle of being a language teacher is teaching vocabulary. You can make students listen to you and explain them the rules of grammer, but learning vocabulary requires practice. Best way you can help students practice vocabulary items outside the class is a web tool called Quizlet.
With Quizlet, you can easily prepare vocabulary flash cards for your students. With the option to put pitcures to vocabulary items, students can memorize the words by connecting the pitcure to the word. You can prepare these flash cards by only putting the word and the pitcure.
Quizlet will create options like write, test or match so the students can practice these words in every way possible. I have created an example and put animal vocabulary items in it. You can check the link to my activity to see for yourself how usefull Quizlet is.
