Second life is a virtual environment in which the pariticipants can create an avatar and become a citizen of. The main goal of Second Life is to create a virtual world where people can live as if it was their other life. People have a whole different social life in this game. Second Life feels like it is your daily life but with options like flying, going to any virtual location you want to and change your apparence as you wish. You can also use second life to create virtual classrooms or give your students the task of creating a machinima.
Unfortunetly my computer did not run Second Life properly and it was always full of glitches. The graphics are not very plesant to look at either. This is propobly caused by the performence of my computer so I would reccomend for you to try it on your own because it mostly works great at decent computers.
