Today I would like to talk about a way of teaching that is really different from anything we have ever seen. Using a different reality to teach. It sounds very futuristic but it has been available for years. Virtual Reality has the potential to be the main platform for many kinds of media. When you think about the things you can actually achieve through VR, you can also see how limited the media has been when comparing to it.
The biggest social platform that uses VR is VR Chat. The program VR Chat lets users enter a world where they can be and do anything they want. By costumazing your 3D character, you can look like anything you want. With the VR headset, the 3D world of VR Chat feels compeletly real and after some time you forget that you are not in fact in a different world.
VR Chat is the best way of distance learning because it eliminates all the downsides of it. And it does not even stop there. It addes so much more to education. There are no limitations to materials and how you can show them because you are in full control of your surroundings. In my opinion VR is the future of education and so many more things.
