Different Reality, Different Education.

Virtual Reality has the potential to change every aspect of the way we teach. The approaches, methods and ideas about education will change fundamentally if this technology can go where i think it can. But before thinking about what it will become, let's look at how it can be used in learning a new language with the current technology.

Learning a new language is hard when the way you are trying to learn is looking at a paper and trying to memorize all the information. It's not as hard when you go out and actually experience the language and the culture around it. But we can't all just wonder around the world to learn new languages. What we can do is learn from the content we can reach from our devices and that is limited too because you are only looking at a screen, not experiencing anything. I think we can

solve this issue using virtual reality. If a real life experience is created within the virtual reality, the language can be experienced rather than taught. In that reality you can even put interactive quizzes. Think of this,

you are in a virtual reality and you touch a ball. after you touch the ball you get 4 options in front of you and if you choose it correctly the ball is in your inventory to use whenever you want in this reality. sounds like a good experience to remember if you ask me.
